Returns and Refund Policy

Overview

This Returns & Refund Policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Change Of Mind: You may return most unused and undamaged item(s) purchased from Steven De GC website within the return window of 30 days of receipt of delivery. You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the item(s), provided you comply with the conditions of returned item(s).
  • Outside Return Window: You can return or exchange all item(s) purchased from Steven De GC website outside the return window if they are faulty by nature. However, we encourage you to contact us immediately for any faulty item once your order has arrived.
  • Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless faulty.
  • Pre-ordered Items: Orders containing pre-ordered items may include special promotions, such as discounts or free delivery. However, pre-ordered items are not classified as sale items. The Returns and Refunds policy applies to pre-ordered items as it does to regular-priced items.

Conditions of Returned Item(s)

All item(s) being returned for change of mind must be returned in the same condition in which you received it/them. The item(s):

  • must be returned unused and undamaged (see signs of use/damage); and
  • must not be torn, missing parts or in unsellable condition because of customer negligence, misuse or tampering; and
  • must not have been resized or altered after delivery.

Signs of Use/Damage

  • Creased or bent cover
  • Spine damage or wear
  • Content with writing, highlighting, or underlining
  • Content with stains, smudges, or marks
  • Unpleasant odours (e.g., smoke, food, mould)
  • Torn or missing pages
  • Loose or detached pages
  • Stickers or adhesive residue
  • Scuffed or worn edges
  • Indented or marked pages

Return Shipping

Original shipping fees will not be refunded.

Your purchase will be eligible for Free Returns only if the item(s) are faulty by nature. We will provide instructions on how to ship these eligible items back to us.

If your item(s) is/are not eligible for Free Returns, you are responsible for any return shipping costs. If you are returning expensive item(s), you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item(s).

Return Process

To complete your return, please follow these steps:

  1. Send us an email to returns@stevendegc.com.au with the receipt or proof of purchase.
  2. Please do not send the item(s) back to us before receiving our response to your email.
  3. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Important Note: Returned item(s) can take several days to reach us once you ship them. Please allow time for the process.

Refunds

If you return is approved, then the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

The amount will be refunded in Australian Dollars and is according to the conversion rate at the time the refund was issued.

Only partial refunds are granted if returned item(s) show signs of use/damage (see signs of use/damage).

If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your financial institution, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at returns@stevendegc.com.au.

Exchanges

We only replace item(s) if they are faulty due to manufacturing or shipping defects, not due to customer negligence, misuse, or tampering. Only the same item(s) will be replaced.
