Empowering Literacy: The 2025 Premier’s Reading Challenge

The 2025 Premier’s Reading Challenge is underway, offering a dynamic opportunity for Western Australian students from Kindergarten to Year 12 to immerse themselves in reading from 7 April to 27 June. This 12-week initiative aims to cultivate a passion for reading and bolster literacy skills across the state.

Engaging in the Premier’s Reading Challenge provides numerous benefits:

Challenge Details

To successfully complete the challenge:

Kindergarten to Year 10: Read 12 or more books.
Year 11 and 12: Read 6 or more books.

Participants can explore a variety of reading materials, including books, graphic novels, and audiobooks. Weekly prizes, such as tech gadgets and book vouchers, are awarded to students who log their reading activities.
